Proyecto secreto might not have been heard from since 2007, they did not loose their groove and are back with a fiery sound, ready to reconquer stages with their finest tunes blending ska & reggae with tropical rythms ! Their new album "Alto" is featuring some very special guests, namely Vic Ruggiero and Dave Hillyard from the Slackers, and was mixed by none other than production mastermind Victor Rice. The Victor Rice Septet gathers some of the finest musicians in the scene around Victor Rice and his most groovy bass in a quest to attain the hypothetical genre of samba-rocksteady. It is Mr Rice himself that claims the aim hasn't been reached yet. Still, believe you me, the rhytmic patterns created in the process add a very fresh and original vibe to the sound of this very classy ensemble. Their newest album, recorded in Charleroi at the Pum Pum Hotel, will be presented for the first time here !!
