M4.3 CLOSING DAY 2
Avalanche Kaito

Someone has described Avalanche Kaito as “grrriot_punk_noise”. Burkinabe singer Kaito Winse, the guardian of the ancestral griot tradition, rubs shoulders with the multiform approaches of drummer and “pure dataïst” Benjamin Chaval and anarcho-guitarist Nico Gitto in an explosive combination. The project seems in many ways unique in the musical landscape, managing to combine both a seductive trance power and a wicked experimental side.
The band was noticed from their first concerts in Belgium in July 2021. A real craze followed, which brought them to several European countries and to Canada during the following months, performing more than fifty times in festivals and clubs.
In 2022, the band released their first EP, Dabalomuni, followed by a homonymous album, both on Glitterbeat. Also performing in several showcase festivals like MIL or ESNS, the band generates a real word-of-mouth movement. Everywhere, professionals and audiences receive them as a new sensation.
In 2022, Grammy commissioned Avalanche Kaito to make a live video that was broadcast on the networks of the prestigious institution. In March 2023 KEXP released a live session shot at ESNS in January and The Wire published a feature about the band. The band continued to scour the festival circuit. In 2024, they released their second album Talitakum via Glitterbeat and have been on tour again all around Europe and beyond since then. Among their highlights: Supersonic (UK), End of the Road (UK), Sines (PT), WOMEX, Colours of Ostrava (CZ), Down The Rabbit Hole (NL), Nuits Sonores (FR)...

PHOENICIAN DRIVE (BE) EXPERIMENTAL / PSYCHEDELIC / ROCK / ORIENTAL / KRAUTROCK
Phoenician Drive
Duflan Duflan

As its name still doesn't indicate, ¡ Duflan Duflan ! is a trio (Bass / Drums / Vocals + Analog Synths). Founded in 2008, resurrected in 2020 under the impetus of Charleroi's underground scene, the band now presents “MINI-GOLF – Un percorso pieno di ostacoli.”
Following a difficult decryogenization and unbridled concerts, ¡ Duflan Duflan ! releases "MINI-GOLF – Un percorso pieno di ostacoli," its 4th album. Propelled by a fat and wild bass-drum duo, stuffed with analog synths and multilingual vocals, the band clashes disco-doom, occult energy, dancefloor joy and absurd post-punk together. The charge is fast, brutal, unpredictable. With atypical lyrics and a retro-quirky cover that reflects the band's universe, ¡ Duflan Duflan ! walks its obsessions along a path full of pitfalls all the way to your speakers.

Gut Model
En live, Gut Model fait le grand écart entre garage poisseux et clubbing synthétique. Déversant le flot de compositions post punk écrites à dix mains et cinq cerveaux interconnectés. Moins bien que les Beatles.
Froe Char

Over more than a decade of experimentations and numerous releases, Italian artist FROE CHAR has developed a sophisticated sound immersed in dark and foggy atmospheres, blending synthetic spells, techno rhythms, and haunting vocals resulting in a fusion of dark wave, tribal rhythms, and layers of industrial noise. Under this moniker, Cristina Lauro has toured across Europe and the United States, sharing the stage with the likes of Automelodi, IV Horsemen, Mala Herba, Martial Canterel, Sixth June, The Soft Moon to name a few
