René Binamé lets his politically engaged songs transform according to the mood, the atmosphere, into noise-poetic wanderings, collective trances, hypnotic lullabies, or... into politically engaged songs, tender and incendiary.

Werly was born in Liège from the ashes of Life is Damage. It was made up of Ryton on drums, Sam and Vinnie on bass guitar and vocals (the two accomplices from Suit Side vs Veda Plight), and Willy (Hiatus, Unhinged, Visions of War, Skew Whiff, etc.) on lead vocals. The lyrics are sometimes funny, sometimes serious, depicting situations from everyday life rather than grand issues. The music is resolutely punk with crust touches, while also exploring some more deconstructed and noisier passages. They have several tours in Europe under their belt, and of course in Belgium.
They released a first LP in 2017, and another one is in preparation.
Willy unfortunately passed away in early 2024, but according to his wish and that of the other band members, the adventure continues with a new singer: Angie.
