The Night Beats are an American Psychedelic, Garage and Soul group based out of Seattle, Washington. The group consists of Lee Blackwell (Lead Guitar, Vocals), James Traeger (Drums) and Jakob Bowden (Bass). Night Beats incorporate sounds of early R&B, Texas Psychedelic Rock, UK Blues, Folk and Soul.

Danny Lee “Blackwell” originally from Dallas, Texas founded Night Beats in 2009 when James Traeger moved from Austin, Texas to Seattle, Washington. Named as an homage to Sam Cooke’s Magnum Opus[3] the then 2-piece picked up Tarek Wegner who was living in Seattle. The Night Beats toured extensively early on completing multiple North American tours during 2010 and were signed within weeks of self releasing their debut EP, the H-Bomb EP. Picked up by Chicago’s Trouble in Mind Records (Ty Segall, Fresh and Only’s, Hex Dispensers, etc.).

They have toured with groups such as The Black Angels (band) (in the UK, Europe and U.S.), Roky Erickson, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Strange Boys, Black Lips and The Growlers.

THROW DOWN BONES is Frankie Frankie(gtr/synths/drum machine) and Dave Cocks (bass/percussion) new musical project. Our previous project, Piatcions, gave us so much love and musical satisfacion, we toured more than 20 states and met so many brothers and sister along the road. Unfortunatly due to personal problems our drummer (Dario)left the band in october 2013. THROW DOWN BONES is the answer, a personal therapy, a rehab from life, an artistic space without structures where we can let music flow naturally. The concept of this project is based on the idea of offering something true, without all the thoughts that influence a composer or a band during the writing/arranging process. These influences like the genre limits, the coherency with previous works and so on could radically change the spirit of an album. Deeply influenced by DIY culture we record in our own space and we play many weird instrument and fx built by myself.       BEFORE....   In last 12 months Piatcions became the “ones to watch” in the growing psych / space rock scene around the globe. Their debut album “Senseless>Sense” was released on Sept 2011 on London label I Blame The Parents. The album combined the soundscaped inertia of Spiritualized with the set-back and hushed vocal indifference of Brian Jonestown Massacre frontman Anton Newcombe. Gossamer sounds build to Kraut riffs, dazzling and epic. “A luscious, dense sound, artfully constructed and beautifully arranged” (Subba Cultcha) which got massive airplay from BBC6 and XFM XPosure (John Kennedy).   Senseless>Sense was recorded with the production of James Aparicio (recently at work with Liars and Spiritualized). Robert Toher from seminal NYC experimental band APSE (ATP Records) blessed a couple of songs with his unique high pitch voice, and joined the band for a giant 3 weeks Europe Tour in November 2011.   2012 has seen the trio releasing a new single and video from the album, playing in February a full Uk tour with Underground Railroad (which inspired the idea of playing Europe together in October); then they played a key London gig on Feb 22nd at Corsica Studios with Koolaid Electric Company, flought to Scandinavia for a bunch of dates in April, and got a main support with The Black Lips late May. In April 2012 Piatcions got signed by Joe Foster’s Sterling Songs Publishing, joining a terrific roster featuring Dead Skeletons, The Telescopes, Koolaid Electric Company, Asteroid #4 and many others. July 2012 finds Piatcions in the UK again, to play Scotland for the first time with friend London trio Black Manila. They also recorded in London – with James Aparicio again – a brand new single: expect it to be more angular and punkish then previous stuff (if only Suicide and Sonic Youth can be defined punk).   Fer de lance du mouvement néo-psychédélique français, Sound Sweet Sound s’impose comme une des valeurs montantes d’un style en pleine expansion, entre rock indépendant, textures sonores empruntées au Shoegaze et longues compositions chamaniques.Formé en 2011 et basé à Toulouse, le groupe travaille depuis un univers exigeant, faisant de la scène son principe fondateur, son laboratoire.
