The instrumental trio Nile On WaX (formerly known as Nox) was created under the impulse of violin player Catherine Graindorge, with David Christophe on bass & Elie Rabinovitch on drums. The band released 3 albums “Nox”, “Freaks” & "Bell Dogs" on the Belgian label Depot214 Records, their fourth album "After Heaven" will be released with the German label Tonzonen Records on 19/05/2023..

Bärlin defies genre boundaries. Borrowing deep and immersive soundscapes from cold wave and post-rock, the bass-clarinet/vocals-drums trio harbors an energy that is by turns punk and flamboyant, ready to sweep away everything in its path.
While the trio’s approach may recall the likes of Tuxedomoon, Morphine, Einstürzende Neubauten, or Portishead, they pursue a unique and timeless quest for which it would be hard to find an equivalent—especially on French soil. Acclaimed by both the music press (Rolling Stone, New Noise, Longueurs d'Ondes...) and mainstream media (Le Soir), their fourth album State of Fear gave them the opportunity to tour Europe once again, from Poland to the Iberian Peninsula.
