Hammerhead was formed in Fargo, North Dakota in the early 1990s, with members Paul Erickson, Jeff Mooridian Jr. and Paul Sanders, later moving to Minneapolis.The band released extensively through Amphetamine Reptile Records. Their major breakthrough album Duh the Big City garnering them critical acclaim, however after its release Paul Sanders left the group. The remaining members went on to form Vaz after experimenting with other line-ups.   In 2010 the band reunited and released an EP of new material, Memory Hole EP, the following year.

Ruttish. Like it has something to prove. Sharp. Full of testosterone. Sounds dark and threatening in a very personal way. A mix of low-tuned guitar riffs, dissonance, desperate screams, feedback and noise. Think Part Chimp, Black Cobra & Lightning Bolt.
 

Viva Cats! is the remains of Lillian Gish and Pull My Daisy. After the departures of Cox (Elvis Black Star, El Dinah) and Tomish (Volt Voice, Gräffen Volder), Mr Regulah, F.Legrand and Gera?d went on as a trio (drums,guitar, keys & voice) to create more direct rock n' noise songs. L'impératrice Déchue (La Tentation Nihiliste) joined the band behind the keys. We're still in the middle of creation works, so that's all folks! We look forward to play live!
