Japanther is a punk rock band from New York City formed in 2001 by two students. The band, who met in Brooklyn consists of Ian Vanek — who plays drums, cassettes, and signs— and Matt Reilly — who plays bass, a Casio, and also sings. We Are Busy Bodies releases Japanther's albums in Canada. They have been featured in Vice and The New York Times among others. In the first two years of the band, they toured nine times.
Andrew Hung is one half of Fuck Buttons, an electronic duo (or something like the sun rising over the ocean… then going supernova) formed in Bristol in 2004. The band are signed to ATP Recordings and have release two highly acclaimed albums; 2008’s Street Horrrsing (produced by John Cummings of Mogwai) and 2009’s Tarot Sport (produced by Andrew Weatherall). Over the last few years they have developed a reputation for their diverse and transcendent live shows touring with artists such as The Pixies, Caribou, Mogwai and Chris Cunningham. Andrew will be performing a special DJ set at Fuxx Fixxtion!

Without being aware of it, these two sound wizards have incorporated elements from typical NYC bands such as Suicide and The Cramps. And the Joy Division connotations due to the Ian Curtis-y vocals were never intentional either. Add to that the biggest Doors-like organ this side of Ray Manzarek, and you got zZz. The mix of all these ingredients is 'rock the girls can dance to. Yeah, the sound of zZz, who played at lot of times at SXSW, has both rock and electronic music appeal. The potential of zZz is enormous, grabbing lads and chicks.

MSV also makes the most fucked up, intense and emotionally paralyzing videos. It’s Witch House at its deepest and most raw, a real secret hell cult that feels truly dangerous more often than not.
Brooklyn-based musical duo Shellshag isn't your typical girl/boy band. Jennifer Shagawat beats away on the drums, playing next to John Driver (Shell), who belts out the lyrics. Minimal rock. Indie punk. Warm and fuzzy, recorded. Loud and unpredictable, live. They played SXSW 2010!
Rising electronic artist Becoming Real has been confirmed as the main support for the debut UK tour of Chicago’s SALEM, in what is one of the most anticipated tours of the winter. Becoming Real releases his ‘Spectre’ EP on 15th November on Moshi Moshi label!
