PHARMAKON (US) (Experimental / Harsh / Noise)

Margaret Chardiet is an interdisciplinary sound artist born and based in New York City. Raised by underground musicians and artists, Margaret was surrounded by a collective of the city’s impassioned, cultural detritus. Instead of following a path of higher education, she began the experimental project Pharmakon in 2006, at the age of 16. Pharmakon as a project, entity, and process, has evolved and exists in true protean form, developing alongside (or more so within) Margaret’s personal experience and auto-didactic philosophies. Her work as a whole is a forced self-possession, a celebration of ferality and viscereality, which performatively abandons a society that has never accepted anything it couldn’t also exploit. Chardiet uses electronic synthesis as a tool to transfer this self-possession physiologically and intra-spatially into the bodies of their audience. Timbre becomes temper. Ferality, a social contagion or biorhythm. Margaret has also played in numerous punk groups that extend out to a greater international D.I.Y. music community, and has composed score and original music for the films Transfiguration (2017), and Sound of Metal (2019).

KOLLAPS (AU) (Industrial / Noise)

Kollaps is an Australian post-industrial project whose history is inseparable from violence—both as subject matter and as physical methodology. Formed on the periphery of collapse and personal disintegration, the project has cultivated a reputation for performances that are confrontational, ascetic, and unwavering in their commitment to realism. The band has recently relocated to Iceland, a move that reflects its ongoing pursuit of isolation, severity, and a more unforgiving creative environment.
The live apparatus centres on a set of morgue-derived instruments and implements: blood- and saliva-stained headrests, knee pins, hacksaws, throat expanders, and other devices once used to manipulate, open, and restrain the human body. These objects are not symbolic. They function as percussive tools and structural components in performance, carrying the residue of their original purpose into the project’s sonic architecture.

Lana Del Rabies is a captivating force in underground dark electronic and the fringes of heavy music. Her distinct blend of industrial, gothic noise, and experimental metal delves into the esoteric brutality of human existence in a world overshadowed by the threat of apocalypse.
Renowned for her intense and immersive live performances, Lana Del Rabies masterfully holds audiences in captive catharsis. The music outcries from beyond, revealing surprising melodic and melancholic moments within the tumult of noise and anguish.

THE EUROSUITE (UK) (No Wave / Post punk / Noise Rock)

The Eurosuite formed in London at the tail end of 2019 featuring current and ex members of USA Nails, Plurals, Nitkowski and Mister Lizard. Sharing an ethos of “first idea, best idea” the ‘suite have pinched off three LPs to date, their debut “Hot Off Depress” on A Tant Rêver Du Roi (FR) and more recently “Sorry” and “Totally Fine” on Human Worth (UK). Sitting somewhere between synth punk and no wave, The Eurosuite are a bunch of skeezy treb-o-philes who create a feral ear-splitting sound. They got those dishwasher synths with high pitched scratchy guitars, one handed drumming, and vocals that tell you stories about dilapidation, house plants, mesoAmerican architecture and Frasier.
