SHANTIDAS (FR) (Electronic / Ambiant)
.
Shantidas Riedacker is a lighting architect and musician.
A multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, vocals, machines, turntables, etc.), he has focused on the guitar in his main project, Aluk Todolo, since 2004. With four albums to their name, the band tours regularly in Europe and the United States, and has also performed in Russia, Iceland, Turkey, and at festivals such as Roadburn 2011 and 2017, Le Guess Who?, Motocultor, Amplifest, Luff, and others.
Since 2009, he has developed solo work under the name Shantidas, creating singular performances in the form of firecracker concerts or sound-and-light symphonies blending intimacy and megalomania. Shantidas Riedacker often combines his architectural, lighting, and musical approach during performances or concerts with Aluk Todolo, Stephen O’Malley (Solo), Nicolas Horvath, Blacklodge, Inselberg, Sum Of R, and others.

MANGE FERRAILLE (FR) (Krautrock / Jazzcore)
.
Mange Ferraille offers raw music, exuding obstinacy and inspired by music that moves forward without time constraints or deadlines.
For 10 years, Mange Ferraille has been digging, refining, and sharpening its desire for a powerful and hypnotic sound designed to be a true sensory experience.
Mange Ferraille also represents countless hours spent improvising, recording, sorting, debating, and refining to create music that appears monolithic, revealing details as you surrender to it.
This meticulous work has already resulted in a debut eponymous album (2017), followed by a second album entitled Erba Spontanea (2020).
On stage, it is an intense sonic journey: finely crafted guitars, haunting riffs, manipulated drums combining organic beats and electronic textures, and DIY microtonal organs that enrich a unique soundscape. A total immersion, between raw intensity and unexpected delicacy.
Their third album, Cicala Plebeia, is made up of continuity and breaks. Continuity in the desire to let the material grow; in this symmetrical and imposing instrumentarium. Breaks in the fragmentation of the pieces, the richness of the timbres and the voice, the embodiment of multiple avatars, which carries tormented poetry in Italian and serves as a guide in this nocturnal journey.
