Si le Stoner Rock a vu le jour dans les sables de Palms Desert, des musiciens passionnés de par le monde ont su brillamment s’approprier ce style. Les liégeois de Ramon Zarate font ainsi figure d’élèves doués depuis 2006. Pratiquant cette forme de rock down tempo avec une virtuosité et une énergie peu commune, le quatuor a eu l’opportunité de tourner en compagnie de pointures internationales du genre –les croates de StoneBride, les suédois de Dozer, Firebird (UK ex Carcass ), Alabama Thunder Pussy (USA), ou encore Peter Pan Speedrock . Leur signature sur Poison Tree Records, label américain comptant notamment au catalogue les vétérans de Fu Manchu , veut tout dire. (Shoot me again)

Horses on fire was formed in 2008 by Thijs 'Tace' De Cloedt. 
Thijs is the former guitarist and songwriter of the Belgian band Aborted, one of the leading european deathmetal acts.

Thijs made three albums and toured all over Europe, the united states and Israel. The band played some of the leading metal festivals in Europe like Wacken, Graspop, Hellfest to name a few. After six years Thijs felt like he reached the musical boundaries of the genre, and his all time love for rock made him decide to part ways with Aborted, time for a new challenge, time for a new band. 

After a year of rehearsing and working on their music, Horses on Fire recorded their first EP in October 2008 at the Red Tape Studios.

They will be releasing their debut album somewhere during Fall 2011.

Waar moeten we tegenwoordig nog beginnen zoeken naar nieuw talent? Nieuwe releases worden met een rotvaart in ons gezicht geblazen. Af en toe zit er een pijnlijk harde steen tussen die recht tussen je ogen terechtkomt. Het vijftal van Fenndango loeit de plaatselijke koeien tussen Gent en Tielt in verlegenheid en dit doet de titel van hun eerste demo, 'Burst For The S-Tones’, alle eer aan.

De hyperkinetische riffkanonnen schieten met stoner- en postmetalkruit dat het een lieve lust is en hakken deze vervolgens door hun betonmolen. Geruggensteund door de Griekse knoppengod Blizzard en het strottenhoofd van Jan Coudron werden reeds herinneringen opgehaald naar ‘the finest moments’ van de jaren negentig. De heren van Fenndango brengen vette maar prachtig heldere stonerrock. Volgend jaar een plaatsje in het voorprogramma van Queens Of The Stone Age, zo schreef RifRaf, we zullen zien…
Tot op heden heeft Fenndango alvast menige gezegende planken mogen delen met vette bands such as… Karma To Burn (US), Le Chat Noir (UK), Man's Ruin, Cloon, Nasty Billy Hamilton, Wallace Vanborn, Mogul, Deville (SWE), Damn Your Idols, Sardonis en Pro-Pain (US), …Verder kaapte Fenndango de hoofdprijs weg op ‘Ruislé Buist’ en ‘Rockrally JH De Sloef’. Ook hun passage op de vermaarde talentenjacht ‘Verse Vis’ is niet onopgemerkt voorbijgegaan.

More to come for sure! Het hoeft evenwel geen betoog dat Fenndango ‘most of all’ een LIVE band is… met andere woorden, boeken die handel!

In 2001, the city of Waregem (Belgium) spits out a fiery-hot guitar band. At first, this bunch of newborn crowd pleasers makes itself known under the name of "A last fine day". Shortly after, the group changes its name to "Mogul" (inspired by "Project Mogul", the military code name for a research project to discover extraterrestrial life forms). Stoner Rock became the band's main religion, which pays off as they took home the much-acclaimed Belgian music award "Stubru Demopoll" up to 3 times! At the dawn of February 2006, Mogul launches its first EP recorded at Hype Studio. By means of 7 tracks, Mogul tries to reach its audience with a rawness that simulates the sensation of a live, pure rock sound. Steaming power rock combined with catchy rhythms take the auditor away to a desert-like atmosphere that proved the preferred playground for other Stoner Rock icons such as Chris Goss. In November 2007, Mogul enters the studio to work on its first full album under the surveillance of Buzzville Records. With the help of live mixing-specialist Koen Vanhee, the band commits itself to several months of recording. Under the influence of Alan Ward, the album gets the definite sound. The title itself being a fragment from one of the album's songs, "Return the blues", it refers to the many expectations, stress and hard work, which went together with the realization of Mogul's first work of art. Finally, Mogul can be proud of its musical quest and can boast a mouth-watering first album

Hailing from the centre of Europe, Kube was born on a gloomy night of the year 1997 in Brussels-Belgium.

They made several demo's and a lot of gig's in their area and had several line-up changes around their hard core composed of JF on Drums, Deck on Bass and Vince on guitars and vocals.

Their common influences were and still are: Kyuss, motorpsycho, black Sabbath, the Melvins, QOTSA In 2003, they decided to play their stoner-punky-wave music as a trio and develop their own style and universe : twisted love, vicious humour, contained hatred and outrageous violence are their favourite themes. Meet up with a paedophiliac priest, a toxic whore, a pervert truckdriver and a corrupted president on an ocean of sound which will blast your balls off !!!

After another bunch of gig's with band's like Hulk and Ufomammuth they recorded and mixed their first album "Stockholm Syndrom" at the Indie-R studio (Hulk, Yel, Bai kamara Jr). Kubes Stockholm Syndrom is the first release on the Buzzville Records imprint BuzzTown Productions, focusing on new & promising rock/metal acts from the Benelux area.

On stage, Kube will offer you an intense experiment with their mix of atmospheres and grooves. They sure like to surprise the audience with different sets depending on the venues mood.
