Teresa Riemann (* 1988, Dachau) is a Berlin based multi-instrumentalist, performance-artist and poetess. A curious mind that seeks the holes in the ground, windows to another world, often discredited as 'échappatoires' (engl. = escapism).
Instead of literature, art or music, being shocked at an early age by the terror and destruction that art teachers inflicted on their pupils, she decided to protect her expression from hostile influences and the normalized logic of exploitation and studied the human mind instead.

Comparisons abound, from Jandek to Hartmut Geerken to Ghedalia Tazartes, yet Gaute Granli remains an unclassifiable figure in our strange midst ~ his vocal inanities fold into delirious looped medleys, allowing for pop-like glimmers before dissolving into guitar-gutted shreds. Music that is for nobody and yet bewitches everyone that encounters it, as the experience of being deeply weirded out often turns out to be a welcome one. His new record Rosacea is out now on Nashazphone.
