MAGGOT HEART (DE) (Hard Rock / Punk)
MAGGOT HEART is the brainchild of Swedish guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Linnéa Olsson (ex-GRAVE PLEASURES, ex-THE OATH). Completed by bassist Olivia Airey and drummer Uno Bruniusson (ex-IN SOLITUDE, ex-GRAVE PLEASURES and more), MAGGOT HEART has become a much talked-about force in the rock scene with their extensive touring (alongside bands like EARTHLESS and VOIVOD), cross-over hard rock sound, and punk ethos.   Formed by expats in Berlin - MAGGOT HEART made a stir in the underground with the debut EP City Girls (Teratology Sound & Vision, 2017). The first full-length album Dusk to Dusk (2018) earned the band a P3 Guld nomination in Sweden for “Best rock/metal album of the year”, and was the catalyst for an intense touring period that saw Linnea and her band on stages all over Europe and North America, including a headline run of Mexico and appearances at festivals such as Hoco Fest (Texas) and Roadburn (Netherlands).   Often collaborating with multi-instrumentalist Gottfrid Ahman (ex-IN SOLITUDE) and award-winning producer Martin “Konie” Ehrencrona (VIAGRA BOYS, OBLITERATION etc), MAGGOT HEART is the world seen through the multi-destructional lense of Olsson’s songwriting - which reached new heights on the much celebrated second album Mercy Machine (2020). Known for Olsson’s jarring, jangly to-the-point style of guitar playing and intense live presence, the band is also a testament to the possibility of independence in the music industry. In 2020 she co-founded her own label Rapid Eye Records - a natural step for a musician who has proudly done things her way for well over a decade.   The city as a throbbing organism is one of the fundamental themes of MAGGOT HEART. On Mercy Machine, the machinery of night runs on the steam of many bodies. Locked inside a prison of flesh the spirit will not soar, only in unity with the body can divine alchemy be achieved. It is a devastating album about sex, death and the pursuit of freedom. The band is often compared to such diverse acts as SONIC YOUTH, THE STOOGES, KILLING JOKE and VOIVOD, with earworm melodies and raw aggression.    In April 2021 the band was invited for an exclusive, filmed live set for the digital edition of the institution that is Roadburn Festival. Later in the year, they returned with three new songs on a split EP with the Norwegian band OKKULTOKRATI, and had two older songs featured in the Swedish crime drama series “Dough”.

NEKROMANTHEON (NO) (Metal)
Behold TheVisions of Trismegistos! After nine long years stirring the cauldron in the underground, Nekromantheonfinally re-emerged from the depths with their most ferocious record to date! Visions of Trismegistos is a long-awaited metal assault, bringing forth the spirit of old metal once again. Recorded in Chaka Khan Studio and various locations around Oslo by the members of Nekromantheon themselves, using mostly old, analog equipment to get that warm, genuine sound. Visions of Trismegistos feels like a lost opus from the glory days of the 80’s, when Thrash, DeathandBlackmetal was merged into one unholy trinity. Yet, it is a fresh and vital testament of a band at the height of their abilities, that stand out amongst their peers. With TheVisions of Trismegistos, Nekromantheonare ready to resurrect the ways of the ancient with their fresh take on old school extreme metal! The Visions of Trismegistos will be unleashed by Indie Recordings worldwide and by Hells Headbangers in the USA!   Nekromantheon started out in early 2005 with only one goal in mind: To play fast, evil and dirty thrash metal in the way of the old gods. Influenced by the classics of Slayer, Sadus, Kreator, Dark Angel andSepultura, they unleashed their attack on modern metal. After the release of the "We're Rotting" EPin early 2007, the band had already built a name for themselves in the underground scene. As the band got more and more focused on capturing the spirit of the 80's, guitarist Arild "Arse" Myren Torp, and drummer Christian "Kick" Holmstarted building their own recording studio. Shortly their very own “KickArse Studio”was ready in Kolbotn, Norway, the hometown of the mighty Darkthrone. With their own creative pit available their first full-length album, entitled "Divinity of Death"was released shortly. This intense evocation of evil turned some heads indeed, and earned the band a spot at Maryland DeathFest 2010and the highly prestigious, yet extremely underground, Live Evil Festivalin Londonthe same year. In 2012, Nekromantheonreleased their second record, “Rise, Vulcan Spectre” elevating the level of ferocious, darkened Thrash metal to unknown heights. The release was an unholy offering to summon the old ways of metal, being held up to underground classics from the 80’s. It was an intense, analog sounding record that showed no mercy. Rise, Vulcan Spectre was met with raving reviews and went on to receive a Grammy for Best Metal album 2012.  Nekromantheon, unaffected by the “success”, continued to play underground concerts and festivals that they deemed suited for their concept, and continued to keep a low profile throughout the years, playing selected shows and slowly working on new material. As the members were active and creative in bands like Obliteration, Black Viper, Flight, Deathhammeretc, and they have an extremely self-critical way of writing music within Nekromantheon, the follow up record took years and years before it materialized. We believe it’s worth the wait.
